How many times have we heard of this that "Change is the only constant" yet how many of us can claim to have happily embraced change in our lives. Yes, it is difficult to even accept a minute change in our lives, let alone a constant change scenario. But there is a twist in this difficult prospect. A positive twist.
When we work towards the betterment of our personality traits and when we see a positive change in our habits then such a change and even better, such a constant change will only give us joy and nothing else. This is a state of happily embracing the positive changes in us.
Now how to go about changing our old habits? It starts with our thought patterns. Once we give it a thought that we need to change such and such behavior in us, say for example, we would like to change in us the fact that we get easily irritated. Then first step is to change our mindset by not letting the thought that "I get irritated fast" come in our mind. Next we create the thought that "Nothing and no one can make me irritated". These thoughts will help us to move forward in our task of self-transformation. And along with this if we can bring some daily practices like meditation, to make our mind stronger so as to create any powerful thought we want to create for ourselves, then that will make the process faster.
It has been proven time and again that the most difficult thing in this whole wide world is to control our own thoughts and the person who succeeds in this can rule over himself which in itself is a huge power, and thereby rule the world!
Hence changing our old habits is quite possible using our willpower which kicks off with the fuel of right thoughts in that direction.
